It is used as a precipitant for rosin wax emulsion and other adhesive materials in papermaking industry, as a flocculant in water treatment, and also as a retention agent for foam fire extinguishers to produce alumAluminum white raw materials, oil decolorization deodorant and some pharmaceutical raw materials can also make artificial stones and advanced ammonium alum, accounting for about 50% of the total production of aluminum sulfate is used in papermaking, the second largest use is in drinking water industrial water and industrial wastewater treatment as a flocculant, accounting for about 40% of the total production of aluminum sulfateWhen aluminum sulfate is added to such water, colloidal aluminum hydroxide flocs, which can absorb and precipitate bacterial colloid and other suspended matter, can be formed and used in drinking water treatment to control the color and taste of the water

1. Used as paper sizing agent in the paper industry to enhance the water resistance and impermeability of paper;

2. After dissolving in water, it can make the fine particles and natural colloidal particles in water condense into a large flocculent, which can be removed from water, so it is used as a coagulant for water supply and wastewater;
3. Used as turbidity water purifying agent, also used as precipitating agent, fixing agent, filling agent, etc. Used as the raw material of antiperspiration cosmetics in cosmetics (astringent);

5. Analytical reagent, mordant, leather tanning agent, oil decolorizing agent, wood preservative;
