There are many synthetic methods of sodium thiosulfate, such as sodium sulfite method and vulcanized alkali method.
1, sodium sulfite method: reaction of soda ash solution with sulfur dioxide gas, add caustic soda to neutralize, add caustic soda to remove impurities, filter, and then dissolve sulfur powder in hot sodium sulfite solution for reaction, after filtration, impurity removal, re-filtration, caustic soda for alkali treatment, after concentration, filtration, crystallization, centrifugal dehydration, screening, sodium thionate finished product.
2. Vulcanized alkali method: The raw material liquid prepared by alkali sulfide evaporation residue and barium sulfide wastewater (containing sodium carbonate and sodium sulfide) reacts with sulfur dioxide, and then adds sulfur powder for heating reaction after clarification. After evaporation, cooling crystallization, washing, separation and screening, sodium thiosulfate is prepared.

5, synthesis method: the main components are sodium sulfide, sodium sulfite, sulfur and a small amount of sodium hydroxide. The material liquid is finished after vacuum evaporation, activated carbon decolorization, press filtration, cooling, crystallization, centrifugal dehydration and screening.
6, sodium sulfate neutralization method: the main component is sodium sulfide and a small amount of sodium carbonate waste.
