Audited Supplier 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid is a multifunctional water-soluble anionic surfactant monomer with the molecular formula C7H13NO4S.
It is white crystalline powder with sour odor. 0.1% aqueous solution has hygroscopicity and water solubility, and the solubility is 150 g/100 g in water at 25ºC. Soluble in DMF, slightly soluble in methanol, ethanol, insoluble in acetone, toluene and other solvents.
It is a strong acid, the pH of the aqueous solution is related to its concentration, and the dry monomer is stable at room temperature, but the aqueous solution is easy to polymerization, and the sodium brine solution is more stable.
The product molecule has a cohesive vinyl and hydrophilic sulfonic acid group, and can be copolymerized with water-soluble monomers such as acrylonitrile, acrylamide, styrene, vinyl chloride and other inwater-soluble monomers.
Hydrophilic sulfonic acid group is introduced into the polymer to make the fiber and film have hygroscopic permeability and electrical conductivity.

1. Water treatment:
